Problem
Restaurants often tend to have a branding based on the cuisine they serve and the vibe they create with it. What happens in a case where there are multiple restaurants situated under one roof. The kitchens is a food plaza dedicated ins erving world cuisine with it's multiple restaurants. The brand needed an identity that gave a feeling of luxurious and at the same time welcoming to people to have a great time. The branding had to be complementary with all the restaurants that are within the plaza and not overpower them.
Solution
From the start of the design process we have aimed to inculcate the luxurious yet welcoming elements of the brand to the design. This project was done with collaboration of Two Things studio and I worked as the lead designer for the same. We went onto do a extensive study of how these food plazas have taken shape abroad as food markets and food plazas are a concept popular outside of India. I went ahead with infusing art deco patterns with luxe colours to show the luxury and the central elements of the place. The logo and branding had to stand out from a distance as this was a large scale real estate project
